Purpose: In the Competency‐based medical education (CBME) approach Clinical Competency Committees (CCCs) are responsible for making competence decisions about trainees. Methods: 136 students from 4 Quebec faculties were selected from 332 applicants through a match system between the 39 available countries and the applicants’ choices.
